Hi there I need a replacement fridge for my 1992 Esterel, my old Electrolux RM 181 HL is bust. Trouble is it's just 550 ml high and I can't find anything short enough to fit into the same space. My old fridge was 45 ltrs.
any suggestions?

I just bought one of the smaller undercounter domestic fridges from an electrical retailer. It is 240v only of course but since we always use EHU that's OK.

Most of the main electrical suppliers do fridges that will fit.

Even though it is smaller than our original 3-way fridge it is actually bigger inside due to being a compression fridge and having less mechanism to house.

Annoyingly there was one that was just 0.5cm too tall but which had a lot more space inside, but it broke on the day we were going away so I didn't have time to alter the housing space.

hi there that is very kind of you! but I have to have a 3 way fridge because I mainly camp on very basic sites for singing events, and there is no mains LX hook up and so always run my fridge on gas..It's a nightmare trying to find a replacement... they cost about £350-£500 new!!! It's mad.
thanks anyway

Hi a strange request, our Thetford fridge fitted in a series 5 Bailey Provencale has broken and to replace will cost around £750.Therefore we would like to put in a 240 volt domestic fridge. Please can you tell me how you went about buying and fitting your domestic fridge and was it noisy enough to keep you awake at night? We would be grateful for any advice, Thankyou Mavisann
