Hi,

We are very new to this and have just purchased a Conway Camargue 1989 trailer tent but unfortantely the previous owner didnt have instructions nor the room at his home to show us how to set things up. I was hoping that someone might be able to help us obtaining instructions to do this?

We have booked to go away for a week in it at the end of the month but as we havent a clue what the previous owner has left in it will be going to out local campsite next weekend to try and set it up. Any advice would be great?... we really dont want to be fighting within five minutes of trying to set it up!

Thanks

Is there no chance of taking it to a friends garden or driveway? Failing that a local large car park or a farmers field? It would be worth a try as it would be a shame to go all the way to a campsite to find a problem and have to come all the way back!

Hi. Check out the Conway owners Club. They are very good at solving such problems. See HERE.

For the trailer and cabin, have a look at the sunncamp website, the instructions are word for word the same as most conways, and are downloadable.

Thank you for all your responses, we managed to buy some instructions (£1.40) off e-bay, they were sent straight away via e-mail. I then remembered that my Nan lived opposite a green field so we took the trailer down there this afternoon.... after  the odd arguement with the other half (they are out of the way now) we managed to get the trailier tent unpacked and set up with awning in around 2 hours... (we did not peg it down ).

I am so pleased with the trailer tent... only two parts missing, one the turners on the main trailer to let the foot down (we figure a spanner will do it) and one turner missing on the kitchen unit... not sure what we are going to do there but other half will figure something out...

Am very exicted now as we take it away to Hereford at the end of the month... fingers crossed it will all go smoothly and this will be the 1st of very many more holidays in it.
