We are desparate to get out again with our folding camper but are reluctent as we have now where to get it dry if we have to pack up in the rain how can we get past this and go away more? we would love to use it through out the year.
Is there a park or field somewhere where you could take it to dry when it's not raining (when will that beeeee!!!)? You could have a day trip out somewhere with it & use it as a base for a brew & a picnic!
Not much help i know, but i'm sure someone has mentioned about storage places that have started allowing campers to use thier units to dry out thier trailers, why not try a local storage place and hire it for a day?
I'm lucky enough to be able to put my canvas in the boiler room at school. It'd be worth cultivating a friendship with your local school care-taker - canvas would dry out if hung up in the school hall or gym over a weekend - a small donation to the school's PTA fund (or the care-taker's beer fund) might swing it!
You can take the canvas off on ours and dry it out at home I don't know if I could be bothered. Ours is in storage and if we just open it out it dries very quickly. We don't do any more than pull back the cover and open it I don't push the sides up or anything. Ours was pretty wet after the Brynich meet but we opened it up straight away and went back at six to put her to bed.

Thanks for all the hints and tips may have to think about putting it her in storage Jan we do keep her in the garage but there is no way we could open her up to dry. Can't think of any where around us where we could put her up to dry.
I used to dry my TT down at my allotment...I parked it on the adjacent path and opened it up while I did a bit of digging.
More recently we use the bit of municipal grass backing onto our garden wall...we open the TT up and fling the awning over the wall to drape down. Works a treat.
