I've got a sunncamp 400se trailer tent and a lot of the pole clips have broken seemingly become too brittle.I'm trying to remove the old ones to replace and am getting nowhere fast.

Any advice would be more than welcome.

Many Thanks

ive replaced several of the c clips and hooks on our 400se, i used a dremel to cut off the top and start to cut a few starter grooves in the plastic.. then chisel out the rest with a sharp flat screwdriver and hammer, although iam sure if i looked i could find a bit for the dremel that would cut it iut easier than a screwdriver, its not an easy job but is made alot easier one you cut the top of the clip off with the dremel.
you do have to be carefull if using a screwdriver/chisel not to damage the end of the pole and also be carefull of the other end of the pole if its on the ground when your using the hammer, as you can dent the shape of the pole while hitting the other end.

not a fun job but i can replace one in about 10 mins
