On Sunday we bought a second hand Raclet Jasmin. It seems huge when compared with the HiGear Xenobia 6 tent we had.
Yesterday we went through our camping gear trailer to work out what we would like to still use. Some of it has already been given a new home in obvious places such as the cooker/sink unit and the front box. Today we continue with that by seeing what we can get in the trailer itself, those internal bins do look useful. Then we hope to get away for a trial weekend, starting Thursday. The weekend looks as though the weather going to be variable so we should be able to check for any leaks (hope not).
Given a good trial we'll be off to Edinburgh the following Sunday for a 15 night break.

Oh sounds good. We made move to TT a few years back, best thing we did. Still tent but sleeping off floor and all the storage you need under the beds, making loads more room for living. We got rid of some stuff when we changed but then isnt it amazing how you find that you need new stuff, because it will work so much better in the TT, and we have the space for it now.

The buying has started. This afternoon it was a breathable groundsheet and a cutlery tray. We have a set of plastic drawers for the tent but found that the drawer we intend to use for cutlery on our kitchen unit is a bit bigger.
