We have a Pennine Pathfinder 2001. The Penvent windows have aluminum zig zag shape at each end to hold the bar ( think anybody that has them will know what I mean). Does anybody know how to get new ones as one has broken. I have been on the Pennine site and they are now showing. Any ideas would be welcome
I did see one folding camper on site with fibreglass poles in instead, but don't know how to obtain the correct size. I don't know if the design has now changed to that or if that owner had replaced all of them.
Try giving Pennine a ring or drop them an e-mail. I would have thought that, at only 3 years old, they would still be able to supply spares for your model.
My Pathfinder is 2003 vintage and has fibreglass poles for the penvent system. The poles are fed through the bottoms of the windows and the ends slot into small pockets of a thick plastic type material sewn into the canvas at the bottom corners of the window; so from what you say this would seem to be a design change.
I would think that your best bet to obtain replacement parts is to ring Penine as suggested by Scampi. Even if they will not supply you with the spare direct, they should be able togive you details of you the nearest outlet that you can order from.
good luck in contacting pennine as they seen very keen to take your money but when it comes to answering the phone they havent got a clue on that, and to make matters worse, as they have taken over conway theres going to be a lot of phone calls made ( they dont reply to emails either)
Hi , I emailed pennine about 2 months ago asking a couple of questions about my unit, must admit they returned a email the following day, found them very helpful.
We have a 1998 Pathfinder and our penvent system seems to be the same as Patrick O's, although we have ally poles.
We have also mailed Pennine with no response and have even ordered parts through camping international 6 weeks ago that haven't of yet turned up.
We need some new penvent poles so will be enquiring at the caravan show next week. While we are at the Pennine stand we can ask why their after sales service is so poor.
