Hi,
When we used a trailer tent we pitched on hard standing most times (about 20 times), i would say the most important thing is you will probably need some good rock pegs and a decent hammer (lump hammer) as some hard standing are what they say HARD whilst others can be classed as hard but actually just have a decent gravel covering.
Also i would suggest a good thick ground covering & slippers or anything similar as stepping down on to the floor bare footed can be a bit uncomfortable also better for relaxing in.
If you take any pets and they sleep on the ground make sure they have extra bedding.
Good luck, Dunc.
