Just opened up again to have a play and tidy things up. All spick and span again and the bedding removed for washing and airing.
It has just started to rain again and I am toying with the idea of giving the ouside a wash over.
Going to do a few minor repairs; I need to replace the plastic hinges on the underbed locker. I was wondering if anyone else has done this, and where they got the hinges from????
Also the knob fell off the jockey wheel and needs to be fixed back on or a replacement fitted.
were of camping this weekend ,
3 nites at a car show, and it looks like a fair bit of rain will be falling...... glad i bought the dandy..i wont be bothered all weekend...
You Dandy owners have got made, it must be an absolutly awsome, the sound of heavy rain drumming against PVC I take my hat off to Dandy owners they realy know how to live .
My Dandy [Dusty] has been up in the front garden for a while now, and I'm loathe to put him down. [Much to next doors disgust I'm sure!] We are going on our first trip next week, we bought it last year, but had to cancel our hols.
I can't wait to try him out!
Hope you get your little repairs done ok Sandy. We've got loads of cosmetic jobs to do, but I'm hoping once the awning is up no one will notice this year!
I do like sitting out there in the rain, but I would still rather it not rain everyday when we go away!
well it rained cats and dogs here in northants all nite last nite,
we were tucked up in the dandy, heater on and not a bit bothered about the weather...it sounded like a tap was on where the rain was running of the corners....
wiped it over with a towel this morning and in ten mins it was folded away and we were on the road.....
im so glad we wernt in many of the other units that were there over the weekend...
Ime beginning to to think the canvass campers are right, us dandy owners used all our sense of humour during camping in pvc, nothing left to brush aside the derogatory remarks from the rest of the camping fraternity, poor souls bless em i say with a smiley.
mike
------------- they said it couldnt be done so i left it and went camping
a bad days camping is better than a good day at work
