Hi all

Can you provide pointers on what to look for when buying second hand folding campers?

I am aware that I should check the canvas for splits/mould/mildew and whether it has ever been sealed (fabsil) - just so that I would know.

But do you have the worry of damp etc in the trailer bit like you do with caravans?

So general pointers if you please.........

Thinking back to when we had a Conway Cruiser, I would advise you ensure that the beds slide out without any problems.  We did'nt have problems with ours but the sliders are apparently very expensive.  I would also check under the mattresses to see the condition of the wood, i.e. it has'nt got damp from condensation.
