With the Pathfinder, its up and coffee poured in 20 minutes, if we are using the awning it is usually another 20 minutes. We try to decide before we reach the pitch, wether we are using the awning or not. That way the awning and cabin go up in the one set-up, It is better than trying to attach the awning to an erected camper 8ft high. that is with 2 adults, 1 disabled, and both kids doing thier own jobs. We have it down pat now.
Our Pathfinder takes quite a bit longer.
The actual pitching would be as you say, 20 minutes from handbrake on the car to coffee ready.
But it take us a bit longer than that - simply because we have all sorts of things packed in the pathfinder that we have to take out to pitch it.
It's the only way that a folding camper is inferior to a caravan, IMHO - caravanners can leave everything in the cupboards and as soon as the steadies are down and the door is open, they're ready. We just don't have the packing space in the Camper.
Ha Paul, That's why i like the awning up.... everything gets thrown out of the camper and into the awning !! So long as i've got my coffee and lounger, the rest can put up what they want whenever HEHE don't you find some 'odd corners' useful though ?
Still learning the best way with the awning but 15 for main body of pathfinder including leveling. 5-10 min more for aqua roll and ehu (depends how far the water point is) so can have a brew 20-25 min in. Plates, cups etc all ready in cupboards, beds ready made in this so just need to unpack food and store clothes. Awning only done twice so think we will speed up in the end. about 40 min for that but keep doing things wrong so that eats into the time. Trying tomorrow so hope we get it right first time!
We just flip the lid over and it's up with enough space for a night or two. Say 3 mins. Everything we need travels under the bed, so it is already there. The awning adds about another 20 minutes.
