it might sound like a silly question, but i have a good reason.
my inner tent is white which i find that my tent doesnt get dark enough in side. even in pitch black i can still see about in my tent. i like it dark.

i just want to make the inside seen darker.

No reason why not. They say to dry clean them only, but mine had been washed by the previous owners.
Dylon do a machine dye you could try. Uptake of the colour will depend on the ratio of man made fibre to natural, but it's worth a try. The only thing is, the inners are made from a fairly loose weave fabric, which is never going to be very light proof. It may be worth asking a seamstress to make up another inner out of a denser, dark coloured fabric (I'm assuming that you mean the inner for a TT/folding camper which doesn't have a plastic groundsheet attached)

Leon, I am presuming that you mean the inner tent on your 4 man dome?  There have been some postings on this site before aabout the best method of making it darker. have you tried the survival sheets [ thin aluminium sheets ]  if you get about 3 of these you should be able to make a pattern from on of your bed  pods slightly larger and so cover the inner. I would not make the cover reach the floor, just the top of the groundsheet. so as to avoid wicking water up and onto the inner though.  I just draped plain black cheapo [Tesco ] bedsheets over the kids bedrooms. Seemed to work fine.

It should be quite easy to just tack an extra liner to the insides of your bedroom pod.  As above you could try with a black tesco sheet and it would not even take much sewing skills.
