Just been away for the bank holiday and was suprized how cold it dropped at night. We put our oil filled radiator on each night and it kept the folding camper warm but I was cold in bed. I ended up sleeping as far away fron the canvas as possible and the bed never seemed to warm up. We are a family of 2 adults and 1 child and this year we have started having a double bed each and stretching out and its been bliss but now I am wondering if this is why I am cold as oh kept me warm before.
How can I warm up the bed to get a good nights kip. Only clean answers please
I was on holiday in France in July. My kids wanted to sleep in the pop-up so Hubby and I decided to have the luxury of one double bed each in the trailer tent. I was freezing and this was with a good sleeping bag in July! I decided after that it was worth putting up with the snores and farts just to be able to steal his body heat, lol.
Hot water bottles are good though. And wool (not fleece) socks.

Electric blanket is next on my list,I can kick my very hairy hound off the bed then! Sad to say,I wear PJ's and socks.
nothin wrong with pj's and socks i'd go the whole hog dressing gown and electric blanket just 2 keep warm as i hate being cold
I am divorced, so no-one to steal body heat from, but never cold in bed. I wear jim-jams, sometimes with a hoody, have a double sleeping bag and a duvet over that and if it's really cold fleece blankets over that. I also wear a fleece hat which makes a huge difference. Not an attractive look, but then, there's only my daughter to comment!
One of the really important things is never to get into bed cold, hands and feet in particular, so make sure these are well covered during the evening. If for any reason this is not possible a hot water bottle is worth its weight in gold for warming them up. The only other alternative is jog round the campsite a few times before retiring!!
In our tent we always seemed to struggle to keep warm, and had multiple layers, PJs, socks, hot waterbottles etc.
We noticed how much warmer it is in our TT. And then we bought a thin memory foam mattress topper because we found the beds too hard. Now we are boiling hot and trying to find ways to keep cool!

We were always taught as kids that the more you put under you in the bed when camping would keep you warmer than what you put on top. Any sort of memory foam mattress topper will definitely help.
We indulged ourselves and got Rakself Duvalays after a particularly cold and uncomfortable week. They were quite expensive but we've never regretted it - they are very good quality mattress toppers with a duvet sewn in on top (so your feet don't even poke out the bottom. We got the winter weight duvets and we're always toasting now (and we do have a bed each). They also roll up for easier transportation and storage. More details Here
