hi as its says above at the mo we ave loads in our fc shampoo kettle bedding tea coffee pacamacs etc do we leave in over winter or take it all out and the beds leave quits on or take off
thanks c
is it stored inside or out?mine is outside so i take all bedding plus all linnings and curtains aswell as anything else that will be affected by damp.I also have a winter cover that is breathable and run a dehumidifier in it.
The first year we took every out. The second year most things, the third year we thought we were going again and left it all in by mistake. My aim is to take all food out and clean it well. Ours is in an open sided barn so well sheltered but drops below freezing.

We don't camp after October , and never start again until Easter at least,so we take everything out and give it a good clean. We take off the canvas (Only 6 screws on a Fiesta) and the seating.Winter wheels are fitted, not proper ones, 2 I bought from a scrap yard that had the same stud arrangements as the road wheels, and I store them in my workshop off the ground and wrapped in an old blanket. Winter cover and that's it for another year.Doing all this with OH takes around 2 hours, time well spent and peace of mind during the winter months.

We leave everything in ours apart from food!! Our is kept in the garage though, snug as a bug. we've never had any damp or problems with it.We opened it up just before may day this year to check every thing was ok and to check out my stocks of toilet roll etc, and just as we were starting to put it away i noticed a golf ball size thing hanging from the canvas. It was a wasps nest!!!! luckily it was only just started so hubby covered it and took it off with his industrial gloves and chucked it. How lucky was that .....if we had left it til we went away later in the year who knows what would have happened.....i dread to think TBH.
We cannot fit ours in the garage, so it has to be stored outside and we leave everything in apart from food. It was fine when we opened it up there was no damp smell.
we take out most of our things over winter, like curtains and most the inner stuff and we wash them and pack it all away for when we take it out again in spring.
other stuff like kichen bits and pieces we leave in there and come spring when we take it out, we then give them a good clean/wash and replace it ready for the start of the season.
