We used some cillit bang on ours as there was lots of water marking on it and also on the white plastic mouldings, came up looking as new. Just try it on a small patch first, and don't leave it on too long as I don't know if it damages it long term. But we certainly had no problems using it

once clean a hard wax like the tins of car polish from poundland will work wonders.
my sons car had plastic panels which were totally matt when he got it a bit of elbow grease and a tin of wax brought them up as new.
wash n wax nor soft wax polish did anything

The gel coat on a fibreglass body can be restored using a rubbing compound - such as the stuff you use when you do a gel coat repair. I use International Liquid Rubbing which is basically a slightly abhrasive rubbing solution used to get the final gloss shine on a repair. You then need to put a protective layer over that or else the gel coat will fade - eg International Premium Polish.

I get mine from a boat chandlers http://www.1stmark.co.uk/ but any chandlers will do.

Sorry - can't help with an awning cleaner as I've always worked on the principle that it's best not to clean beyond dry brushing any mud off the awning.

Second the suggestion of going to yacht chandler.

I used to have a fibreglass boat which sat on a sea mooring on which I used car polish.
After a couple of seasons the gel coat bloomed and you need a special polish such as the International Liquid Rubbing referred to above.

If you keep the trailer under cover most of the time, then perhaps car polish will work

Before you use a glass fibre polish on your unit, just make sure that the surface that you are trying to polish actually is Glass Fibre!

I thought the front and back of my Pennine Pathfinder was Glass Fibre but it is actually Plastic.

I use Silky Caravan Cream. It's fantastic and gives the plastic a lovely shine. Use sparingly unless you want forearms like Popeye!!! I take off the fridge vent grilles and clean them with Cillit Bang or suchlike. Also, the Silky is not so good on the battery box frame so household cleaners get the black off a bit easier.
