We have just purchased a pennine fiesta and I just wanted to say how impressed we are with the build quality inside. We went looking at caravans and after much research was disappointed with the range available to tow with our honda civic 1.8 si- selling the car was not an option(only 10 months old) as i absolutely love the car, therefore alternatives had to be found after reading forums on here visits to various suppliers I found a 2004/2005(private) model and purchased for £3000 it is stunning i cannot believe how well it has been looked after. We camped earlier this year after many years away from it and decided to purchase something a little more comfortable than a tent (although we had good time in tent). anyway thankyou to all the people who contribute on this forum reading the various comments the for and against helped me make up my mind.
YAY! Congratulations, thats a good price. We bought our fiesta in march and we love it too. Just got back from our first full week away and loved every minute of it!! Selina
Hi me again thanks for your comments- we thought it was a good price and the owners live near, it is always worth research and waiting for the right deal (i hope) cant wait for next years season although we may have a weekend nearby before winter. We had a brill demonstration and now my husband is so excited about going for a full week next spring- infact he is more excited about camping than the tenerife hol in feb LOL- is this camping contagious as there are a lot of you ??? and may I add very experienced happy to share knowledge with novices thankyou lesley
Hi I bought my Fiesta in April seconhand and have spent many weekends away in it this summer. All over the midlands and northeast. The forum is fantastic when you have a query and able to get fantstic advice from other campers quickly.
Keep on camping.. The only query I have is how come I have never seen another Folding Camper on any site at the same time as we are there????????????
we bought our FC at Easter this year and out of 6 trips so far, we have been to 4 sites which have had other FCs on them, with a couple of sites having quite a few and 3 out of the six sites all having a pathfinder (our model) on them too. Having only been camping in tents before, we had never seen one of these anywhere though I suppose it is like cars, once you own a specific make, you start seeing them everywhere. We have even taken to spotting them on motorways now!
We've been away in ours 4 times this year, Saw one other on a site in July in Weymouth and one last week in Cornwall. Also saw one at Michael Wood services on the M5 on Sat afternoon! We try and spot them too, there doesn't actually seem to be that many around! Selina
