Hi all, Just got a dandy 4 (mid 70s I think) and I love it. The only problem I have found is that I have a need for an awning but can't find one for love nor money.

are there universal awnings I can use?

Are there any useful sites to try to locate one?

Cheers in advance for any help/suggestions recieved.

Also got to say these things must be bomb proof at nearly 40 yrs old this thing only looks 35.

Hello, welcome! Dandy awnings rarely crop up for sale on their own I'm afraid. Caravan awnings won't fit as there is no awning rail. Some people use a motorhome stand alone awning. The problem is that this leaves gaps under the beds. There is a Dandy owners group on Yahoo where you'll find pictures of some solutions. Let us know how you get on. Enjoy your camper.

i have a free standing on mine but that wouldn't help you as its a dandy 6, but others have done different things.
