Don't know about towing but you don't get much in the boot of one of them!

Hi Lisa4100,

We have a Chrysler Voyager and have just got a Raclet Quickstop, weight 650kg I think, and the MPG has only gone down by 1.1MPG with the trailer on, our car hardly notices it's there.  I dont know how heavy your camplet is, but I imagine the 300c woudlnt struggle with it.

Hi

300C is a lot of car for the money. 3.5 petrol is not that great, (pretty awful tbh), but diesel is the business.

The diesel's oily bits are all Mercedes and the car is built in Austria. Build quality is OK and the car has lots of toys.

Nothing has gone wrong or fallen off mine in over 3 years. It handles better than you would think for something that size, but the ride is a bit rough over our potholed roads. Brilliant on motorways though.

Its biggest fault is its sheer size. Not a problem at all on the roads, but multi storey car parks ? Forget it !

Oh - forgot to mention the 5.7/6.1 Hemi engine. That can lay down rubber in a straight line, but you would need your very own oil well to keep the fuel tank filled. I had one of those on hire in the USofA and it was fun. But could manage only 10 mpg.

hth

Hi

We havent had many problems with our chrysler, only that the battery that the manufacturer installed was not a high enough ampage, it was recalled once for faulty battery within two years of the car manufacture, and then we had to replace that one about 1 year later, they only had 650 mah, we changed it to a 850mah battery, had to cut the tray though to allow the battery to sit on the switch in the battery tray).  Touch wood since then we have been ok.

Would never take our Chrysler to a Nationwide autocentre (AA) again, as they did not service the vehicle properly.  Also tried to the tell me  that no car has a light on the dashboard to advise if the handbrake is on. Yeah right!.

Chrysler dealership service is very expensive though, only kept that up whilst car was still in warranty, now go to independents instead.

Hope that helps.
