Hi Slomo,

I have a 2006 Raclet Floreal.

Mine came with a full parts list.

If you measure up your poles(diameter/length etc) there may be pole on my unit with

the same size.If so i may have a part number for it(or similar)

As i mentioned to Mel OBI Camping are good and it may be worth calling them

I know its a long way from you but also Attwolls in gloucester have a huge stock of

poles because of their commercial business.

Good Luck

Terry

Cheers Terry. I only erected the trailer in a very brief gap in the weather to have a look and have whizzed it back into the garage to avoid the wet - so a bit tricky to measure up. However, before I packed it away I measured the diameter of the pole as 20mm with a narrow end of 17mm, and both ends have a spring button catch thingy.

I didn't bother with the length as I was planning to make one up myself, and also its not critical. I reckon anything over about 2ft6 (75cm) would do, and I could cut them down and redrill the hole for the catch.

They are the two extending poles that stretch out the bedroom canvas on front and back of the bedroom compartment, so I would imagine Raclet do a similar one for most trailer tents?

Thanks for your help. Al

Al,

I have looked at the exploded diagram of the bedroom frame.

I believe the sliding pole is part number S17555V on the Floreal.

Its called "coulisse d'arceau secondaire" which i think means sliding secondary

arch.It doesnt indicate if this number covers the complete pole

The diagram does not give the dimensions of the arch but the main awning coming

out from the bedroom is a combination of 22mm and 19mm dia of varying lengths

If you contact a Raclet dealer they may understand it

Terry

Thanks for all the research Terry. Much appreciated. Will contact OBI to try to trace a replacement. Fingers crossed!

Just need to get a copy of instructions now and I'll be a very happy man.

Just researching how to add electrics safely - how come I don't put this sort of effort into keeping the house decorated??

Hi all

Just to throw in my two-pennorth worth!  We brought Claude (as we named our Quickstop) just under 2 years ago.  We have learnt, through trial and error, the best way that works for us to put the awning up.

1. Don't try it in windy conditions!!

2. Unless you are 7' tall, zip the awning onto the front of the trailer BEFORE fully extending the trailer roof!

3. Then throw the awning backwards over the trailer roof whilst you put the poles up, then just carefully pull it forwards over the frame.

4. The first time you successfully put the awning up, LABEL or colour code the poles because you may think you'll remember, if its dark and/or raining things don't always go as planned!

We love our Claude - put him up last weekend for a clean out and airing in early preparation for the 2011 season.

Happy camping everyone.

had a look on ebays completed listings and a 2004 when for 900 and a 2006 went for 850 so going by that yours looks a little high, but as time goes on the prices tend to go up.if the one your looking at has all the skirts and is in good nick then if your happy with the price go for it.always try for an offer.
