Anyone looking for an FC check out this one on ebay seems to me that this is a good buy at this price and doesn't seem to have a reserve price. Don't these units normally go for more?... currently bid stands at £1160 for a 2002/3 pennine sterling.

I would expect that to go up a fair bit in price before the end of the auction.

Yes he has sold quite a few trailer tents this year......so dont think he/she will let it go cheap.

Another small snippet the guy we bought our fiesta from said he got a phone call when he advertised in preloved and it was the same bloke who he had bought the fiesta from 2 years before offering him a ridiculous price. When he challenged the bloke about being a trader the bloke got really snotty on the phone. The couple we bought the fiesta from did say they had bought the fiesta on e-bay and it was sold to them as if it was the guys pride and joy-later to find out the boke traded a lot of FC's on e-bay. We got a cracking buy in our fiesta but we fully inspected and checked everything before we parted with a penny. I would be very careful buying something expensive on e-bay as I know a few people who have been stung. There r bargains to be had and good luck to anyone who has had one but the old adage buyer beware springs to mind. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

The FC that we bought on Preloved in August is still being advertised there with the bottom line reading, "Updated 2 days ago".

The guy we bought it from made no bones about the fact that he was selling it to raise the cash to go into the business of buying and selling FCs and TTs.

But, whether the guy was genuine or not is of no consequence. We are happy with what we got and what we paid for it and that, to us, is all that matters.

There r some genuine traders and some cowboys- unfortunately the honest and genuine get clubbed in with the bad ones. There have been a few stories on this forum of people who have been sold something which it is not.I suppose that is life,but not everyone is as lucky as us to have bought something that was genuine and it is a sad reflection of todays dog eat dog world. Hope u enjoy your F/C we cant wait for next years season to start Lesley
