I am considering buying a used Tamais FC which, I believe, is similar to the  Trigano Randger 757TC but I like the colour scheme on the Tamaris.  However, I can find very little information on them regarding a) How long they were in production?  b) when were they discontinued?  c) Is there a spares problem are will Trigano spare fit?

Any help will very gratefully recieved

Thanks for the replies guys.  I put a deposit on a 2006 model at Casey's last Friday.  We liked the cheerful colours rather than the sombre Conway/Pennine range.   The price was good and the unit almost immaculate.   As we have 3 dogs and OH is a smoker (in the tobacco sense only lol) it made no sense going for a new Trigano unit.  It seems that Tamaris is no longer on Raclets catalogue but Trigano is the same firm.   I was surprised to see that Rapido is also now but specialise in Motorhomes.  The other factor which swayed us is the way the toilet door can be used to close off one end to 'en-suite' mode.   Keep the mutts of the bedding hee-hee.

Matt, have you used the unit without EHU?  Does the water pump run on 12v for 'wild' camping?

Thanks for the response.  We have now taken delivery of the Tamaris and now eagerly awaiting some decent weather to practice all the setting up/taking down skills for when we take to the road in earnest.   We have booke the tunnel crossing for Mid July until Mid August so we're going to be travelling with it for 4 weeks.  Can't wait!     Still lots of things to get and do.
