What's that last bit about? We had a caravan, loved it, but when it fell to bits we decided not to buy another one. (Storage costs, fuel costs and too many friends have had problems with new caravans). So now we have a TT. Having been Caravan Club members for many years we thought we'd feel a bit like the odd one out on CC sites so we've just joined the C&C Club. I hope we haven't made a mistake!
There is a feeling among some (or many) that the club caters more toward caravans than tents, the magazine seems to have one on every page. Having said that,I have never come across this attitude on site. It's a great club generally,so I dont think you've made a mistake!

Know what you mean about the CC - we're always the only FC/TT on a CC site but quite like being a bit different. You'll feel very at home on C&CC sites but you'll have to get used to not being able to choose your own pitch, and paying a deposit.
Well you have to try everything out to see if you like it! A caravan is great for comfort, but they are expensive, if you use it lots then you will get your moneys worth out of it!
Thanks. I did notice that the first copy of the magazine we received was primarily caravans. I'm glad the same isn't true on site. I'm quite looking forward to towing the TT rather than tugging the caravan up and down the country.
I don't mind not choosing a pitch - it was always far too stressful! And being the only male in an all female household doing as I am told comes naturally.
