We have a trailer tent.. well, we have what's left of it having taken the tent off it so we now just use the trailer and have kept the kitchen so it all balances and just because it's a great camp kitchen.. but anyway, the site we seem to end up going back to every year in france has the luxury pitches which has mains water hook up for each pitch - with a threaded tap.
Seems to me it would be great if we could take a water grade hose and somehow connect it up to our sink on our kitchen unit. The tap in our unit won't take mains pressure of course, so our hunt for a solution has begun... We've looked at putting a caravan tap on but nothing seems to do the job, we could try to bodge up an in-line pressure reducer but still not sure our tap would cope. Our latest idea is to buy an ordinary outside tap and screw it onto a bit of wood which would sit above the sink of our kitchen unit (possibly bolted with wing nuts through the lift up sink cover..?) then connected up with water grade hose...
Has anyone done anything similar (that worked?!) or know if there's any sort of of the shelf kit you can buy? I'm sure I can't be the only person wanting to do it!
