Hi there,
I was wondering do I need a 60 MPH Sticker on my Camp-let if so which one as there seem to be 2 types..
WHITE BACKGROUND WITH BLACK TEXT
or
BLACK BACKGROUND WITH WHITE TEXT

No and why 60mph.

60mph is for dual carriageways and motorways
50mph for all single track roads

I was told that the max speed when towing my Camp-let is 60 mph.

You can get speed stickers here http://www.speedstickers.co.uk/ although they are not required for what you are towing. Also speed stickers on larger vehicles usually refer to the speed in kms not mph.

The 60 sticker is not a legal requirement but it lets other road users know that that will be your maximum speed on the motorway,i have black background with white text stickers on both my trailer tent and my erde camping trailer...

i also have LPG stickers on both trailers too to let others know im carrying liquid gas should either trailers be involved in an accident...

Not needed, but I have one on the Dandy I got from Towsure.  It is 60mph on dual carriageways, but 50mph on single carriageways in the UK.

This is the main reason I was asking as I would be fed up following a trailer not realising that it could only go 60mph. Great idea for the LPG sticker forgot about the gas bottle..

Thanks for all your help.. Off to Ebay as they're cheaper than Towsure...

hi if it was me i would not bother other drivers should no how fast you can tow a trailer on different roads if not they should not be driving?

I got white background ones from e-bay ones in MPH and ones in KPH just so we done annoy other road users... though e-bay site had lots of lovely stickers that are now also up the side of my trailer!
