hi,

could anyone advise me if the battery box on a trigano 575 2006 model folding camper is in one piece, the door and frame looks to be a separate item to the battery box itself, the door has twisted a little over time and is letting some water in and im hoping it hasnt got inside the camper over the winter, this happended last year but camper was dry inside on inspection. im hoping that if i take the door off,, heat it gently and clamp it flat it will stay straight as it cools down. has anyone had any similar problems.

Hi Neil

I've had a look at my battery box and it seems that the door is held on by two hinges which have nylon spigot/pins holding the door.  I assume these can be removed to detach the door.  The hinges in turn are attached to a plastic framr that is screwed to the body of the trailer and this appears to hold the inner box into place.  I hope this helps.
