Nice one. Am sure, like us, you will love the experience and have great fun with the FC for years to come. Shame you didn't buy a Conway though... they are better than Pennines :P lol

Cheers, we trying to arrange a weekend away to come and see your FC when this one popped up. Looking forward to trying it out.
Get your towbar fitted! Now is the time to get away and enjoy... any spare weekend and we get away, maybe worth checking out the Pennine owners club, they organise rallies and cheaper rates.. but they ain't as good as the Conway club :)

Getting a detachable flange towbar fitted on weds for £329!
...I have noticed the Conway owners website is a lot better, I may get some removable stickers to put on my camper with 'Conway Cruiser' printed on them

we use butane gas in the blue bottle, the 4.5 kg size that is the max size our fiesta gas locker will take,
Thanks, butane it is. I'll have to find out what size bottle the Pullman will hold

I'd like to say thanks again to everyone here for their advice and offers. We bought a 1999 Pennine Pullman tonight and pick it up next week, happy days
Will need a bit of advice about getting a leisure battery and if they're any good.
We got it from a private sale about an hours drive away. I only went to have a look but when I got there I was sold straight away. We're really excited about using it and our eldest (4 going on 94 :)) hasn't shut up about our "caravan with a tent on top" as she calls it.
Picked up the camper tonight but it's on the folks drive at the moment until we sort storage out ...it's getting closer. We popped it up on the drive and our daughter absolutely loves it ...high praise indeed.
It didn't start out as the greatest journey, some tit driving on the opposite side decided it would be nice to try and take my wing mirror with him but settled on shattering it instead.
When I got there I found the camper came with electic hook up cable (we only bought one yesterday so it's up for sale now).
Also was told that the Pullman has stabilisation integrated into the trailer. Is this true? If so I'll be popping a bulldog bar in the classifieds too
All the above were minor quibbles as we're over the moon To finally get hold of it. I didn't realise it had a gas outlet on the side, happy with that as I can keep the gas bottles out of the way.

we loved our first trip even though we had a lot of rain overnight, and thunder and lightning on the first night too!
