Hi, We have had our folding camper for 6 months now. We use duvets and keep the duvets and the pillows on the bed when we fold it up. If they are thick duvets i would recommend putting them in the camper - just laying them flat before you fold. The make up bed is a double in size but we never use is as there is just two of us. We use standard double fitted sheets for both, it will fit the kingsize one as its not kingsize as you would get at home but they are soooo roomy and sooooo comfortable I get a better nights sleep in it than I do at home. Basically, there are 3 straps that will keep the duvets, pillows and matresses in place as you fold the beds over so they dont fall.
I hope that all made sense and have a great time. We cant get enough of ours.
My advice would be, yes keep the duvet on the bed when putting away, but we put our pillows under the seat or in the wardrobe. Just a thought but if you put what type your unit is in in your profile you would'nt have to put it in the title of the topic
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
The fold up bed may not the the type you have, depends on what year Cardinal you bought. The earlier Conways had slide out beds (which in my opinion were better than the penning fold over type) and you just leave the bedding in place and pull the transit cover over it, (each bed has a transit cover) and put the pillows in the wardrobe before you fold it away.
We have a Pennine Pathfinder and that is roughly the same as yours.
The King Size Bed is about 2" wider than a standard double bed (IE 4' 8" wide) Hardly a real king size but never mind. The other bed is 4' 2" wide.
Yes standard duvet will fit it although we prefer Merano Wool Blankets because they are warm in winter and cool in summer so one blanket does all seasons.
We keep the blankets on the beds and store the pillows in the wardrobe.
Please remember that you will probably spend more time in bed than on any other activity when in your camper, so do spend some time getting your sleeping arrangements right. We try to keep out bedding as close as possible to what we use at home. Even if the rain is chucking it down for a week, a nice warm comfortable night's sleep is worth its weight in gold. But one night of a miserable sleep and you'll be packing up and heading home the next day.
We put a standard fitted sheet on our bed & a duvet. We put a fitted plastic backed single sheet on the bed our son uses, he prefers to sleep in a sleeping bag. The standard sheets are a little baggy in tha Dandy, but the excess just tucks underneath. All the bedding goes under the beds once folded over with the bottom sheet left on..
Our Crusader does not have king size bed also ours is a slider not folding so really should not be called a folding camper we make up the beds before we go.

I thought they were called Folding Campers because everything folds.
The furniture, the canvas and the frame. Not just the beds. But that when it was "unfolded", it was a full sized caravan with all the mod cons that such a unit would normally possess.
