You need a Zig Unit or similar. Possible to buy new but they do come available second hand on Ebay, or if you have a local caravan breaker nearby then they should be able to help.
Hi the simple answer is what we do with our pulman. Use a standard battery charger. Our battery is under the seat in a box we made. Theres enough room for the charger We have wired in a socket so everything is enclosed. When on a site with 240v, connect the charger. You can still use the 12v lights while the battery is charging

That is exactly how it is wired in my Fiesta, simples!! ;-)
------------- Give a man a fish and he'll feed his family for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit around on a boat all day drinking beer!

THIS is what the Dandy has in it. It will do what you want, but I personally don't leave it on all the time as I have heard tales of them overheating - they do get quite hot in use. For this reason I run the fridge off 240V or gas rather than 12V. The battery needs to go into a compartment with high level ventilation to outside in order to allow Hydrogen gas to escape, & a drain hole to allow spilled water/acid to flow out. It needs to be securely held in place to prevent movement - specifically falling over when braking etc. Battery boxes are available like THIS but they still need ventilation. You could use one of these & simply put it under the camper when pitched. New campers have them in a locker accessable via a door in the side - like most caravans. Mine has the battery in an external box on the A frame along with the gas bottles. This isn't permitted these days beacause of the (very small) risk of a spark from the battery igniting gas leaking from the cylinders. I am happy enough with that setup.
just a note on the fridge(not sure if said already)i belive i'm right in saying you can not run the fridge on 12v unless connected to the car.stand to be corrected but mine won't.

It'll depend on the wiring but reality is a fridge will completely flatten a battery in hours.
Power demands for heating and cooling are far greater than most people realise - fridges and heating devices need to run either from the mains or from gas.
