If it floats your boat go for it I say, you only live once!

For the owners and advocates of Hotkampers to get personal and reply with insulting remarks .To anyone who who does not get carried a;long with the Hotkamper hype .Is showing a serious lack of character and self esteem ,This possibly has a bearing on the type of person drawn to these units.

As one such owner, I am surprised at such a vehement diatribe.

I apologise unreservedly to you and all other relatives of Goliath for having somehow offended or insulted you.

Let us however get back to the original intent of this thread to celebrate the increase in trailer tent choice in the UK

I have now read this thread through 3 times and still I fail to find any posts that were either insulting or personal (apart from the one you published maybe?). I can only presume that you are referring to the 'philistine' comment, well I have to say that the addition of the smileys shows that the poster was being flippant/jovial, and I'm sure many other readers of the thread would agree with me.

You obviously have a real thing about Holtkampers (and no, I don't own one nor do I covet one), I say this as you have contributed 2 posts to this thread and both have been very negative indeed, to me YOU are the one displaying a lack of character and esteem!!!

Have a nice day,

Jim

Give a man a fish and he'll feed his family for a day.

Teach a man to fish and he'll sit around on a boat all day drinking beer!
