Been asking loads recently (hopefully be able to answer other's soon!) Couple of things we were wanting to know is our pullman has a water pump but when it was connected to the mains I couldn't get it to work.   Do they only run off leisure batteries? Also with leisure batteries how do they charge up, not got one yet and not 100% whether to get one? (sorry seems daft but never had one before).

The pullman is about 1999 and seems the 3way fridge does not work (had it on the main and didnt go cool after half hour) so we have a small mains fridge which would do the job. My query is has anyone took the sink/cooker/fridge unit out and replaced them? We are thinking new/used unit with a sink and getting a kamper portable gas hob and oven type unit put in and adapting the unit under the wardrobe to put the fridge in (if i can find somewhere that does that type of unit)

Can any extra internal electric sockets be installed ie around the table area be handy to have one up there. Mainly for small tv for kids on a night when i get a satellite dish.

many thanks in advance of any help or suggestions. We were going to treat ourselves to something newer but finances wont allow and I need a new car first.

Lee

You have to have a 12v system in place to run the water pump, i.e. having a battery connected up.(well did with ours) If you don't have an on board charger for the battery take a normal car battery with you and run when on electric hook up.

As for the fridge, it can take quite a while for them to cool. Try running it for 24hours and see if it has cooled down. Ifno luck, it could be that the gases have settled, try taking it out and turning it upside down (think we left ours for about an hour) and then turned it the right way up again.

We fitted extra sockets to ours no problem.  Think a lot of people do as there just isn't enough as standard.

think the unit has to be level for the fridge to work and they take a while to cool down to.Make sure you have the on the mains sign...

Woops... just re read my previous post. Meant to say if you don't have an on board charger take an ordinary car battery charger with you.

our fridge did not work on our first camp out. Turned out it was due to being pitched on a slope and therefore not level enough.  After advice on here we tried it on our level driveway and all was well.  I good tip for checking is to take something small like an egg cup and put a bit  water in it and then put in the freezer section.  It will start to freeze quite quickly and is easier to tell that  than just putting your hand  in the fridge every so often.  Dont use much water though!
