Well, having spent all winter debating and deciding to buy a new Raclet Solena, we went off to Exmouth today and bought a second hand combicamp Venezia. Phew! Hope OH doesn't change his mind!
Thanks - we have just got a Conway DL - not brand new - but in fantastic condition, only thing dreading is how long it will take us to get it put up and the awning - and not have the three kids (7, 4 and 2 nagging us)
ha ha
hoping to go away early May - Whitby area - any suggestions ?
The thing about Conways is that they don't take too long to put up. Make sure you've got something in the car for the kids to play with that you can pull out when you arrive. Not easy, to think of something for that age range, 2 scooters and ..... for the 2 year old? Sit and rides don't work very well on grass.
Don't know the Whitby area very well, I'm afraid. I could come up with loads of suggestions if you were coming South.

Hiya, our little man sits and watches a dvd in the car, if he stays till we get him out he gets a treat. I bet if your 2 yr old gets a little teary your eldest could give her a push in buggy around your pitch etc.
Hopefully you can get a practice pitch before you go without your little ones

That rather depends on which Conway.
We used to have a Royale. Putting up the main sleeping area was a matter of minutes but then the awning extension, awning, sun canopy and pegging it all out took what felt like most of a day!
