Hi, that time of year again.. has anybody got, or know of, a pennine bedroom annexe/ awning extension to fit a pullman/pathfinder awning, 2003, dark green and cream..
I have a Pathfinder and have used one of these Outdoor Universal Bedroom Annexes to connect to the awning. We've only used it once so far but it stood up to some strong winds and particularly heavy rain with no leaks. Mine is light grey in colour so doesn't match our cream and green Pathfinder but I was more concerned with function than appearances.
I found that the rain pooled in the roof quite a bit. I remember draining it off quite a few times. Never leaked though. I was on my own when putting it up and didn't get the roof taut enough. I might have been able to do a better job with a bit of help.
I bought mine for £99 in 2008 from Tent Hire Ltd in Walsall. Ph 01922 634808
It needs two sturdy/rigid vertical poles to attach to, one on each side of the opening it's going to protrude from, plus a horizontal roof pole above that opening. If your sun canopy has those then I suppose it could.
Can your canopy be fully enclosed? If not then I don't think it would be stable in windy conditions (if it was blowing inwards) and it would be very cold to sleep in at night.
Hi Ailish. Thank you for that info. I am trying to decide on a F/C to buy (just sold my Camplet Concorde as it was too much of a nightmare to peg down for short trips) and was looking into possibility of one with just a sun canopy. As it would be just me and my two kids (aged 9 & 5) I thought perhaps I could manage a sun canopy easier. It would be handy to have a full awning though - for porta potti etc. It has to be a Challenger or Aztec (or similar) as I need to try to keep the weight down to 600kg.
h_m, another option may be to buy a smaller or porch awning for your FC, quicker to put up and provide you with the extra space. There is a lady on here that adapts awnings to fit campers too, i think her website is Oggy Cakes or something like that. Not very helpful i know but if i can find her name i will post it on here.

Assuming extra sleeping space is what you are looking for, then both those FC's along with the Fiesta, should take an underbed bed which hangs under the beds. Just a thought for you
