Hi
I have a Pennine Sterling that I currently tow with a Vauxhall Vectra 1.9TDCI (150bhp), with no problems. The vectra has a nose weight limit of 75kg.
I am aiming to downsize my car to a more practical Skoda Roomster 1.6TDCR (105bhp, replacement for the old skoda 1.9TD).
The Roomster has won towing awards, and would have no trouble with the 950kg max fully laden weight, however it has a nose weight limit of 50kg.
The pennine hand book says minimum nose weight should be 43kg and idealy between 50kg to 100kg.
I have adjusted the loading to give a nose weight of 50kg, so I am happy that I can meet the car limit & unit recomendation.
Just wondering if anyone else tows with a Roomster, and how they have gor on with it?
Best Regards
David J
