Hve had in a garage and under winter cover outside ... found that one big challenge has been the tendency to accumulate puddles on the top ... so soved by putting our roofbox between the touring cover and winter cover (on boards) ... this creates a good 'peak' which keeps water from outstaying its welcome!
Remember to remove all internal furnishings, pillow, cushions, curtains, inner tent lining, bed liners etc.
I also painted all the woodwork with yachting varnish.
From this year onwards, we have decided to store it in France (storage warehouse for caravans) ... at a cost of £175 per annum. We'll save that much in ferry costs (easily), and it will be out of the 'weather' and save us time and fuel from home base to and from collection point.
We very, very seldom did any camping in the UK, so that suits us. If we wanted to camp in UK, we still have a couple of tents ...
