Hi can somebody tell me what is the correct tyre pressure is for Pennine Fiesta 1999. I have conflicting info. The Pennine Owners Handbook states 30 psi and a leaflet I downloaded states 35 psi
I would go with the handbook assuming your tyres and wheels are original spec rather than some leaflet (info on foldingcamperinformation.co.uk has the alternate value you mention and it has different for my Pathfinder but will go with handbook
I'm sure my pathfinder is also 35 psi I know it was high by the previous owners and I could feel the thing bouncing, putting it right made a lot of difference.
------------- Up there for thinking, down there for dancing. 😎
When I put new commercial spec tyres on the Crusader (2001 model, MTPLM 1000kg) I went searching for this information on-line and ended up finding a number of links to an equation that calculated it using max permissable tyre pressure and trailer weight. It came out at 48psi and I settled on 47psi as we don't load it to the max. That seems to work quite nicely. One of the supposed rules of thumb was to check the pressure again after a 50 mile motorway tow and if it had increased by 4psi it was correct. I did that on a recent trip and it was bang on.
The folding camper information site has a much lower value if memory serves me.
