We just bought a green (rubbery type) breathable ground sheet that fitted our cabanon Venus Awning widthways perfectly, but was too long by about a couple of feet length wise. We could have cut this extra bit off, but kept it and just doubled it under. We will now use it in our slightly larger FC's Awning, (until we buy new) so good job we didn't cut that extra bit off.
We won't be buying that type of breathable ground sheet again, many a damp/wet morning I came down from the top unit to find worms had come up through the gaps, not nice when you have bare feet.
Some sites won't let you put a non breathable groundsheet down.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
We use the breathable to start with, but now if the weather makes the ground soft underneath and brings up our little friends, we put over a smaller Plastic/PVC ground sheet (non breathable) on the bit we tread on most, this solves the problem.
Remember to lift it off again when the weather improves to let it all dry up and help the grass recover.
Go to a camping shop. It is either sold from a roll or else buy one bigger than you need & cut it to size with scissors. They aren't cheap, I paid £50 for ours.
in the end i got 2 breathable ground sheets of ebay for £25,they are seconds but i can not find any faults with them.now we use both at the same time this helps alot with damp coming up,and must say happy for any wildlife to visit
