Could you give me some advice please?
We have opened our folding camper after a terrible winter to find dry patches of dust looking like green mould on the canvas also the upper bars (gold coloured)that hold the canvas up have gone rusty too! I have dry wiped the dust from the canvas but obviously it will all need treating before it spreads. It's all smelling very damp & we are quite shocked & upset.
Any advice will be gratefully recieved.

The best thing you can do is get it up and leave it up to air it and dry it out - if you can get it in the sun that is the best thing for mould and mildew. Then it needs raining on or hosing to wash it off and drying again in the sun.

If you have to treat it you can wipe it all down with a dilute solution of Miltons but you will probably then need to waterproof it with Fabsil or something similar and you will then probably need to re-do it every couple of years or so.

You really need to try and get the camper open occasionally, in the winter just to get some air through it, although I know that's easier said than done.

Hi
Make sure you vacuum clean any mould/spores ... wiping etc tends to spread it to other places.
If the 'growth' has left any marking on the canvas it will need treating.
The best treatment I have found, after much research, is Sudbury Mould and Stain remover ... this is an american product, not sold in the UK.
Has to be shipped over as flying liquids is not allowed ... so takes about four weeks.
It completely cleared our considerable mould damage to the entire roof section ...
Outside was very dirty from tree greenery etc ... Isabella awning cleaner was brilliant.
The whole think now looks brand new.
So try some locally available cleaners ... and if they fail ... go for the Sudbury ... it WILL work!
