We are, at present, on a 28 day tour of Northern Ireland and I am finding that our towing mirrors (Milano Aeros) are essential.
While I can see backwards okay with the car's mirrors, I cannot see what is coming up behind me and even going through bends in the road, there can be several cars on my tail that I cannot see with the ordinary car mirrors.
However, it is the drivers extended mirror that I use the most.
On the downside, our car, a Renault Scenic, has the car mirros mounted on the body and not the door and so every time I open the car door, this action causes the extended mirrors to knock the cars mirrors out of alignment and we have to remember to pull them back in before we drive off.
But yes, you will need extended mirrors.
