Hi, I can see that this is your first post so welcome to the forum.

The pole that sticks out that's spring loaded sounds like the lock mechanism for when you are in transit. With the pole up you should be able to open and close the fridge door. Push it down and it should click and lock preventing the door from coming open accidentally whils on the move. Push down again and the pole should spring up unlocking the fridge door for when you are on site.

Not sure about the second part of your question though as you really need someone to answer with the same type of unit.

Hi

The sprung loaded pole supports the right hand bed when it's fold over.

It retracts to stop you catching your legs on it.

The frame supports the roof section over the kitchen. There should be two adjustable poles to hold it in place. These are usually clipped to the worktop behind the cooker/sink unit.

Sorry, I misread the question as you didn't make it quite clear. When you said "At left side of the fridge there is a pole that sticks out of the unit, its brown in colour and is spring loaded" the unit being referred to was the fridge itself. I think you are referring to the construction board adjacent to the fridge.

That's okay, it was disappointing that I couldn't answer your question that's all. Anyway, just hope that someone can help with your query. Good luck.
