Hi does anyone know where I can source a replacement cover for the outside electrical point on a Pennine Pathfinder 2004 folding camper? We came back from camping and realised it was missing- it couldn't have been closed properly on the way home.
We have tried caravan spares but they are the wrong size.

I think its this one, I've included the link to the Towsure page. I don't think you can buy just the cover.

I think there are two versions of the socket. They are both Power Part brand and one has metal hinge pins and the other, newer one has plastic hinge pins. I remember seeing the doors on there own whilst trawling through the web for a complete socket - try googling caravan or awning 240 volt outlet or similar - I can't for the life of me think where i saw the lids. They were available in cream or white.
You may find it easier to buy a complete new outlet. I found a genuine Power Part socket at a company called Caravan Solutions Ltd based in Derbyshire - S43 4PW. They have the complete white socket for £13.49 including postage. If you ring them thell them that you want the white unit not the cream one. Irt should come prewired and fitted with an inline connector - unplug old unit and remove, place new unit in position and bed into new sealant, plug in new unit, fix in place with 4 screws. Here is a link to the relevant web page

Very nice people and very easy to deal with

SNAP!!! We had exactly the same a few weeks ago. I bought one of these from ebay, fitted without a problem and cheaper than buying the complete socket, the cover arrived within a couple of days. We also have a 2004 Pathfinder.
