Leave if on if possible,they don't take long to dry.If you pack up wet,make sure it's opened as soon as possible. Even if it's raining at home,you will still need to open in up,otherwise the rot will set in! Took me a week once to dry out,opening it up every day.hope you enjoy your first trip in her!.If the worst comes happens and it rains for the next month,the canvas is just tied on,if it has been wet before,it shouldn't shrink,but if it does,it can be stretched again by wetting it down first
