I have had a look on Nissan site and it looks as if max towing weight is 1200kg, although not too clear which model it is you have.
I would ring a Nissan dealer to make sure what your exact models total kerb weight is and the max towing capacity as well. What is the weight of the Tardis? On a lot of vehicles it is shown on a plate, usually by the drivers or passengers doors (when doors are opened) or it should be in your handbook.
