Hi thanks for advice. Someone suggested washing with lux soap as this also contains no detergent. I'm a bit restricted where we are. I can get hold of Lux but a little apprehensive.

Thanks
Denise
Perfumed isn't it. Would of thought no more chemicals at all so simple stuff. Whatever you do do not make it bigger. At this time it is a patchable size.

I've been chatting with my hubby about this and he says that if Fabsil won't penetrate it then water probably won't either, so it may well be fine. His suggestion is just to leave it alone, and if you're really worried about it, next time you have the tent up try watering that area with a watering can and see what happens. If it's only a small area in the bottom corner, then don't leave anything directly below it so that if water does come through then nothing inside will get wet.

Don't panic! It'll be fine.

I agree with liloliluk no more on it and see how it goes whilst it is small enough to deal with. Even a plastic sheet is better than putting another soap etc on it. I nearly put soup then

You will have to soak the area with a hose,to get detergent out. Then dry and brush on storm, which you can get from any caravan shop.I did this and it worked great.
Good luck.
This is what winky was talking about from Towsure only it is not a rip that you have its a damage via chemical.Worth keeping a note of into a black book for any time in the future. This is what I have done  on other members advice either to me directly or what is said to others  I keep it with me even on hols as it is a little one just getting fatter with info maybe or not so needed. Others might need it though if anything happens on a site your on then you can help someone else on the spot.Just website addresses, product, what used for.I have a whole section on electrical re-wire of 12n/12s plugs and drawn diagrams and colours of wiring.Everything from weight laden, unladen, for car, insurances, pennine info & insurances & a mass of "how to do????" still being added to. It's MY book.Storm Seal - 15 grams
