You won't regret getting one. I've just sold ours after owning it six years. Got back pretty much what we paid then. Has been all over Europe. Would certainly have another.
We have a 2000 Dandy Destiny and best thing we have ever bought! We looked at all types of FC's, Pennine, Conway etc and decided that with the British weather we really needed a Dandy with the PVC being the much better option than canvas. Ours is a pale blue and white insulated model and we plan on using it all year round. Our eldest son is a carpenter and rebuilt the interior (nothing wrong with the old one) we just wanted a more modern updated look to it. Got all the upholstery redone and it looks fantastic. Would recommend to anyone. Really easy to put up as well, my husband does it all by himself in under 30 mins - roof lining and everything (while I'm looking after toddler that is, not with my feet up!!!!)
Thanks everyone, we got a Dandy Designer in the end in excellent order from a lovely couple on ebay. Its home now and we are thrilled with it! Yes I can say with the weather we get you have no worries with a Dandy!!!
Well done. Lots of help on here & the Dandy Owners Yahoo Group. Ian at Riva Dandy Sales is great help with spares & repairs too. He will probably have built your camper.
WE found the 5 berth Dandy Discovery best for us - the pale blue one with the plastic windows and the newer units. We have had 3 so far and settled for a Winterised (padded walls) late 1990's model. We hardly notice it bouncing along behind us and have been to Spain in ours.
