There was 3 of us on site at Fforest Fields in May! Seen a couple as i've been travelling round this year.
I don't understand why some people say it takes a long time to put a Camplet up. Me and 2 kids can have ours put up and having a drink in less than an hour, watertight in 10 mins. You just have to have a set sequence for doing things, everyone does their own bit.

The trouble I had with the Camplet range is that you have to unpack everything before you can get into bed.

Depends what you keep in it, mine has the beds pretty much made up with sheets on and pillows and duvets inside. The only other stuff i keep on the beds when in transport is the poles, annexe and the canopy.

When we had ours we saw a couple of others, we always attracted a lot of interest from other campers too.
I love the look of them and they are well made........ but we didn't find it as easy as they make out to put up and down. Also we couldn't fit all our gear inside the trailer, the kitchen was too low and wobbly. I think if you have had a caravan first then it spoils you!

We are on our second camp-let trailer and still enjoy it.I cannot see how it takes two hours to completely pack up the trailer and contents. We are usally pitched with everything in place and having a cup of tea within 1 hour max.The hardest part of packing up is the organizing of the car to fit everything in, in fact we have just bought a roof box to try and make things a little easier. I am seventy years old and my wife 60 and as yet we do not find it a problem erecting the canvas or the pegging down of the canvas. We both have our designated jobs to do once we arrive at a site and things go very smoothly.I do however have one problem which someone may be able to help me with and that is I want to purchase a hitchlock that completely covers the hitch. This is becase the two nuts which bolt the hitch to the 'A' frame are accessible and so the two can be seperated and the trailer stolen while leaving the hitch behind. I have tried sevarel manufacturers but have come up blank.I have designed one myself but cannot find anyone to make it for me. There is one answer and that is to put a weld on the thread of the bolt so that the nut cannot be undone. This will howerver cause a problem if you need to remove the hitch for any reason. We have not seen any other camplets on the road or on sites.
Like You.
Used to have the Camplet Apollo, sold only because we did not realise as a disabled erson 90%+ in a wheelchair. I could nto get out of bed to wee as nothin gto hold onto that is sold to haul me out. That is the only reason for seling it and someone who bought it had a terrific deal form us, come all the way down from Yorkshire to Surrey to get it.Loved it. It took us one hour also to do it. If we dawdled doing it because of too hot weather it would take us 2 hours inbetween a drink. But it is possible for us 2 to put that up "without any rain or wind" just to sleep in within 20 mins. We could sleep in it. But wind & rain it can still take 30 mins just to erect & peg out. Then the rest is taken up with all the rest. I cannot see how it took 2 hours to erect unless the kitchen sink came with it Got fc now.Takes longer to hang the beds & make them up on put up. But still doesn't take long unless we WANT it to. no hurry we are on hols.
