Hi...just finished our first summer with out new (to us) Pathfinder and seemed to cope well (OK the awning would not have passed muster with any experts but it didn't leak or blow away!).

I'm preparing the camper to store in a barn over the winter and think I can see all the obvious tricks for making it ready for winter but have a couple of questions which I hope someone can help with:-

1) Is there an easy way to drain the flush water (pink) tank for the loo other than having in flush it repeatedly....I wondered about pulling the indicator tube off but it could take an age to drain

2) What is the consensus about the battery....do I remove it and if so do I need to keep it on charge over the winter...if I do...are there special chargers or will a standard car one suffice?

Great many thanks for the answer...I discovered the indicator tube had a flexible coupling to allow draining.

Hi Jona, empty the pink stuff by pulling out and down on the indicator tube.
It won't take too long, two mins tops as 15ltrs of water have to pass through.
