josey thats the ariel we use ,but without the two extendible silver bits which are for radio reception ,works fine on our unit and that was on a site where we could not get reception with the old analogue signals ,just remember what i said about polarity ,you just change it with the little fastening screw .ideal for the job saves flaffing about with a dish .my dish from aldi lasted a day before being returned for a refund

Just been to B&Q to look at these sattelite systems, but as they are mains only and we use mainly sites with no EHU they will not be any good but thanks for the info mike,the price is not bad though.

most of the suitcase satellite systems are 12v or 240v
the ross one in B&Q works on either as it comes with a fag lighter plug in the kit for caravan use.
not the cheapest out there last year lidl was selling them for £30
