We are still on holiday in our pennine Pullman 535 FC and we have just altered the curtain supports from those really annoying poles in loops to some proper curtain wire suspended between plastic p-clips on the poles.
It's much better, they open wider now and don't keep falling down! Used about 4m of wire and 6 clips & hooks.
We did the same!
And removed the cupboard ... tiled the drawer unit top to provide an extra kitchen surface ... we can now put a load of extra stuff down the gangway when towing, and the inside looks much more spacious!
One handy mod I did on my Fiesta was to make a detachable drawer unit that fits next to the sink unit so you don't have to open the cupboard door to get to the cutlery draw

We also removed the wardrobe after a couple of years. That's made a real difference to us. The only thing is trying to find somewhere to put a mirror and we had to buy another light, too.
Corpogreen, can you give a few more details about the detachable drawer unit, please.
Yes,I don't know if the sinkunit on your Pullman is the same as the Fiesta, but the draw unit just fits on the righthand side of the sinkunit next to the gas rings

there was another long thread about mods but heres a few we have done to our old 92 pullman ,replaced carpet with nice thick black offcut ,the left over piece from the offcut was used to carpet the inside of the door (used spray adhesive) replaced carpet strip with a nice gold one .removed wardrobe ,and now use folding camping cupboards in the awning ,these are hard top ones and double up as worktops for microwave and other stuff .put in a modern quick release in line valve for coupling up the cooker ,put in foam under the mattresses ,installed a up to date whale pump for the water ,replaced the old metal trailer socket plugs on the A frame with modern plastic ones ,replaced all camper and awning curtains with new caravan awning curtains with up to date design ,replaced cabin roof lining with a sterling one from pennines sale (sterling fits the older pullmans due to size changes) .probably loads more minor bits but it makes for a comfortable base for us .
