Hi all. This will sound really thick, but I just used my Quickstop for the first time, and managed easily to erect the whole thing including awning, extensions, skirts, etc. without any instructions, but I can't work out how to attach the underbed tent!
Me and a friend both searched for somewhere to connect the clips (it's a Raclet original equipment one) but can't see how it fits. Can anyone help out please?

Thanks Al

Not had a quickstop, but my old Raclet Herald had rectangular white plastic clips underneath the beds, and the tents simply clipped onto these.

Thanks SiHa. That's the sort of thing I was looking for but there's nothing like this on mine. We were wondering if the bed base has been changed at some time and now I think it probably has.
Anyway, I feel a lot better for your reply (I always thought I was pretty practical so was put out that I couldn't do it...). I guess it's a simple case of nipping to a camping or hardware shop and picking up a few 'O' rings or similar. Thanks a lot for your reply.

Our underbed tent didn't have the correct fixings for our unit. The tent has an S shaped hook and had shallow U shaped brackets to screw to the bed board, we don't have bed bed boards so I had to improvise! Are the little brackets what you're missing? I can have a look if I still have them tomorrow if thats any help.

All the best,
Alison

We have a Conway and the undertent just hooks onto the bed board edges.

Thanks all for helpful messages. I'm afraid the Quickstop doesn't have 'free' bed edges like trailer tents, because the canvas is fixed around the edges so that it opens out as you open it up.
Alison - offer much appreciated. I think the little 'U' brackets are exactly what's missing, so if you have spares I'd be really grateful. Don't fuss looking for them if they're not to hand - I can improvise (you have to learn to improvise if you want to survive camping...)
Cheers Al

Hi Al,

I've got them, they were in my spares bag. I kept them 'just in case', but after 2 years I really don't think I need to carry them around anymore!

My email is my username at sky.com, if you let me know your address I'll pop them in the post.

Just wanted to thank Alison publicly - loops were in the post in no time, and are just the job. Really fantastic to get such a friendly response when all I was hoping for was a bit of advice. Thanks Alison
