It does look nice but the price is very expensive.

looks much better in the video than in the pictures. Wouldn't spend 15k on one though.

I visited the NEC yesterday and saw both new Pennines.  The folding caravan has potential and it was useful that only a few meters away was the Gobur and Trigano Silver stands for comparison.   In short, they all have their merrits and their limitations.   I'd loveto have the opportunity of trialing all three.

Also saw the Quartz 2+2 with toilet compartment.   That is neat and still retains character and a lot of space.  I think this is going to be a major seller for Pennine as it will fit into most garages, smaller base unit but now with the convenience of the larger units.

I was blown away by the Eldis 304 caravan.  Petite, light and very well designed.  If I was to go over to the dark side it would be this one as weight and load equates with the FCs, and Pop-tops.  I never new that there were so many motorhome and campervan makers!

On first viewing I quite liked the new pennine folding caravan, but when you look at it more closely it comes across as being quite poorly thought out.

There is no hanging space for clothing, little cupboard space and the living area looks cramped. Then there is the fact that there is little place to put the TV and when having a cup of coffee you have to have the table up.. which makes it even more cramped.
The toilet is a nice facility but having to empty it in the awning is not a great idea.. awning did i say? Bit of a faux pas that, as there is no awning rail and consequently no awning.

This unit would really only server for a weekend away for a couple, with the lack of living space and hanging space its not a unit i would want to use for a protracted period, i.e. more than a couple of days lol

My Rapido Orline has a much better designed interior ( we have one of the seating areas made into a permanent double bed) and the same can be said of most of the other folding caravans out there.

As a prototype its ok, and perhaps thought provoking, but it leaves a great deal to be desired, and I think that anyone with 15k would probably go for a Gobur as they have much better interior layouts and the facility of having an awning attached if you want it.

BUT.. thats just my opinion.

Saw the Artemis at the NEC today. It was nice but everything just a bit too small. I tthink they shoud ditch the fixed bed. it isn't right somehow. Apparently there is an awning in prospect, it does have an awning rail. For the price I would go for a lightweight caravan.

Saw the pennine at the NEC and I must say it was very small inside.

Same here.  I had a look at it at the show and very nice but the price will deter a lot of people.

Saw the Pennine at the show yesterday.  Not sure about the strange shapped bed. Also noted that Pennine have discontinued the Quartz 2+2, Quartz4 and the the Cruiser.
