About 2 years ago, then I believe another investor came on board. Certainly the factory was still producing both domestic and commercial tenting. Recently however, no idea on owners, although their e-commerce site seems to be up and running:

at DavWR Many thanks I thought it may of occurred recently. Would explain why the cabanon logo has changed.

Not sure who has taken them over. But two places have referred to the fact that they went into administration and one said a Dutch firm had taken over the business.

Sorry best I can do

Thanks reckless

The Cabanon Stratos is not in the range for 2011. The 2011 range are Tabora Manga Mercury Columbia.
Casey's of Chester stock the Mercury and Columbia.
Spare parts are available at Casey's and if not in stock can be ordered.
Cabanon are "NOT" in chapter 11 they were taken over 2 years ago they still employ lots of the existing knowledgeable Staff.
The Mercury in principle is the same body and tent size as the Stratos.
Hope this clears a few things up
Blackrex

Caseys have not been able to get my spare poles yet, they have been trying hard since April! That is on an order that was confirmed and priced by Cabanon!

I have emailed both Cabanon and Camperlands for details on spares but they have never bothered to reply. The spares in question are such items as tailgate hinges and kitchen lid stays. I eventually found a wealth of such items on RS COMPONANTES. They have a very large range of hardware bits and pieces that will fit.
